Sources
- Heights of people and structures: Wikidata (CC0 public domain), the structured database behind Wikipedia. Retrieved in bulk on August 27, 2026 and refreshed roughly weekly; every page links its subject's Wikidata record. Heights of living people on Wikidata typically trace to public reporting and are approximate - this site never claims better precision than its source.
- U.S. average heights: CDC/NCHS, NHANES 2015-2018 (Vital and Health Statistics Series 3, Number 46, 2021) - measured, not self-reported (source PDF).
What the silhouettes are
Stylized pictograms in three shapes (two human forms and structure forms), scaled exactly to the recorded heights. They are deliberately not likenesses of anyone.
Coverage
9,731 people and 456 structures/objects currently carry pages or appear in the tool - the cutoff is public notability (how widely a subject is covered across Wikipedia's languages), not any editorial judgment of ours.
What this site does not do
No commentary on anyone's body, no "real height" speculation beyond the recorded figure, no rankings framed as records. Corrections flow upstream: if a height is wrong, the fix belongs on Wikidata, and the site inherits it within a week - or email us and we will flag it.
